FAQ's

Q: What is included with each house plan purchase?

A: Each house plan includes detailed floor plans, exterior elevations, dimensions, layouts, and general construction notes. Plans are delivered as a digital PDF download immediately after purchase.

Q: Are your house plans ready to build?

Yes. Our plans are designed to be builder-friendly and permit-ready. However, most jurisdictions require local review and may request minor modifications such as engineering, energy codes, or site-specific details.

Q: Can I modify a house plan?

A: Absolutely. You may:

  • Work with your local builder or architect to make changes

  • Contact us to request custom modifications (additional fees may apply)

Q: Do your plans include engineering or stamps?

A: No. Engineering (structural, foundation, wind, seismic) and stamps are not included because requirements vary by location. Your local engineer can provide these as needed.

Q: How do I receive my house plans?

A: Plans are delivered digitally as a PDF file immediately after checkout. You’ll also receive an email with a download link.

Q: Can I print the plans?

A: Yes. The PDFs are designed for professional printing at standard blueprint sizes.

Q: What if I lose my download link?

A: No problem — just contact us and we’ll resend your files.

Q: Will these plans work in my state or county?

A: Our plans are designed with U.S. building standards in mind, but local codes vary. Always check with your local building department before construction.

Q: Are these plans suitable for slab, pier & beam, or basement foundations?

A: Many plans can be adapted for different foundation types. Confirm with your builder or engineer before construction.

Q: Do you offer refunds?

A: Because our plans are digital downloads, all sales are final once the files are delivered. Please review plan details carefully before purchasing.

Q: Can I use the plan more than once?

A: Each purchase grants a single-build license. If you plan to build the same design multiple times, please contact us for a multi-build license.

Q: Is this a custom architectural service?

A: No. AML House Plans provides pre-designed plans, which keeps costs affordable. Custom design services are limited and handled case-by-case.

Q: Where is AML House Plans based?

A: We are proudly based in North Central Texas and serve homeowners, builders, and investors across the U.S.
